On October 3, 2025, the Utah Office of the Medical Examiner notified the Davis County Sheriff’s Office that the human remains discovered near the Shoreline Trail in the area of Adams Canyon have been positively identified as Colin Mills.
The Kaysville Police Department extends its deepest condolences to Colin’s family and friends during this profoundly difficult time. We also wish to sincerely thank the volunteers, community members, and assisting agencies who supported the search over the past several weeks.
The investigation remains ongoing and is being conducted by the Davis County Sheriff’s Office.
